By installing or using Gallery – Photo Gallery, you agree to the following terms:
1. Use of the App
You agree to use the app only for personal, non-commercial use.
You will not misuse or attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with app functionality.
2. Permissions
A. Storage & Media Access
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
These permissions allow the app to access, display, and manage photos and videos stored on the device.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is used only when the user enables the media lock feature, which secures selected files from unauthorized access.
The app requests this permission explicitly at the time of use, ensuring no background or automatic access.
This helps prevent data loss when files are moved into a private, protected location.
B. Network Access
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
These permissions are required to access internet features like ad services, app updates, and analytics. No personal media or data is transmitted without user consent.
C. Phone State & Call Detection
READ_PHONE_STATE
This is used to detect incoming and outgoing calls for triggering optional post-call screens and alarm reminders.
The app does not collect or share call information, and the feature can be disabled by the user.
D. Overlay & Call-End Screen
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, ACTION_MANAGE_OVERLAY_PERMISSION, SYSTEM_OVERLAY_WINDOW
These permissions allow the app to display a call-end screen overlay, which provides quick access to gallery features (like reminders or note saving) after phone calls.
Overlays are never used for ads or non-essential content.
Users are prompted to grant permission only when this feature is accessed.
E. Alarms & Reminders
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT, WAKE_LOCK, REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, FOREGROUND_SERVICE
These are used to schedule and show user-defined alarms/reminders (e.g., after call alerts).
Alarms use full-screen intent only for time-sensitive alerts.
Background services are used minimally and do not run continuously.
Alarms are restored automatically after reboot if the user has enabled them.
F. Notifications
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Required to send reminders and alerts. The app respects system notification settings, and users can manage preferences anytime.
G. Advertising
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID
Used to deliver personalized ads in compliance with Google Play's advertising ID policy.
We do not link your advertising ID to personal data or media.
You can reset or opt-out of ad personalization from your device settings.
3. Data Loss & Responsibility
The app stores locked media locally on your device only.
If you uninstall the app without restoring locked files, we are not responsible for any data loss.
We do not back up or have access to your private files.
4. Ads & Monetization
The app displays ads using third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob, Meta). By using the app, you agree to receive advertisements.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, including data loss or device issues resulting from the use or misuse of this app.
7. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes indicates your agreement.
